Long Way Home

Have been riding motorcycles almost all my life.

Well since the about 1974.

Raced Motocross between 1976 and 1978 (before changing to racing in local BMX races).

I started my Motorcycle Engineering (mechanic) apprenticeship in 1980 and by 1985 was the Service Manager in my local Honda Motorcycle Shop and continued fixing motorcycles for the next 30+ years specialising in dirt bikes and customising dirt bikes over the years both in New Zealand and the UK.

You can understand I have a passion for motorcycles and these days I’m unable to ride one any more because of my Brain Injury.

In fact my first concussion was probably riding a motorcycle back in round 1974/75 or my may have been learning to ride a Pony (horse) in approximately 1973?

Anyway, I’ve always enjoyed a good motorcycle video’s starting with the Honda Videos we used to get from Honda back in the 1980s following Paris to Dakar offroad racing, Isle of Man TT racing and then the first of many motorcycle adventure series with the first being ”Long Way Around” and now over a decade later the “Long Way Home” starting in the next few days on Apple TV.

If you want a little bit more about one of the motorbikes, here’s another video to get you inspired to watch the series coming.

Happy watching
