So 12 months ago I started planning and designing, developing and a number of rethinks about a lightweight, simple design.
The main aim was to Keep It Simple.

Part of my design is from my experience helping build a number of Africa Overland Trucks for two different companies that I worked for back in 1993 and 1994.
Plus keeping my gear to a minimum after what I learned from the 15+ weeks driving three back to back camping trips between Oslo and Nordkapp.
We drove on some of the most remote dirt roads, the company had a longstanding relationship with numerous farmers, land owners, and small businesses that had small campsites set up just for the company I was working for and each one was exclusive to average of 24 passengers, my Tour Manager/Cook and myself.
Over there 7+ years of adventure tour driving I found out to keep it simple. Keep the gear to a minimum makes camping much more fun as is less to unload and less to load up again if one a comfortable lounge etc.
Staying home would be easier.
