Short walking adventure this weekend trying to keep cool with bush cover and altitude.
First of drive around Lake Taupo towards Turangi and turn left up Kiko Road until the end and then follow this short 4 km walk around the Kiko Loop Track.
Kiko Road is Gravel and can be wet in winter, but it’s dry and rough in places at the moment with a DOC toilet in the parking space before the start of the walk.
A great day out if you’re in the area.
