A Little Bit About My Project Troopy

So why is my Project Troopy so different to most Troopy camper/overland builds?

Well it’s partly from my years of working in tourism as an Adventure – Camper tour driver learning that the less one carries/loads up with the easier it’s to travel.

And partly to do with the years of traveling light and take things that can be used for/in more than one way, ie: a puffer vest is useful in a sleeping bag to keep warm on colder nights instead of carrying a bigger warmer sleeping bag just incase of a cold night (but too warm to sleep in for most of the trip) also that same puffer vest worn under a raincoat makes for a warmer experience in cold weather instead of carrying a second warmer jacket just in case.

So to keep my vehicle weight down I don’t have any drawers, this also makes better use of the limited space.

More details coming in the next few months and hopefully one or more of my design will inspire you to design something alternatively more practical for every day use for yourself.

A day out enjoying life
