Project Troopy Build Update – September

Well you may have been wondering how my Troopy build has been going and to be honest a lot has happened since my last post about it.

The floor is finished and sitting in the back however it is not glued down yet and there is only one bolt holding it but that’s because the rest is happening.

Bed is now in and all working, fully boxed underneath and all mounted up just waiting for a little bit of sanding on the edges of the ply and varnishing/polyurethane for water proofing.

I have received the table for mounting on the outside of my Troopy along with some rails that will allow the table to be removed from time to time when not needed.

Where am I up to at the moment?

Well, at long last I am now working out the exact position of my toilet and the options I have for mounting it to pivot up and out of the way when not in use. Also working on the fridge position and the way I’m going to mount it.

Also installing the base to the battery system that I’m using and then I’ll need to wire up everything once it’s all bolted down and set up, still more to come.

Here are a few photos

Finished and awaiting help to fit
I’m surprised by the fit but I suppose it’s part of the preparation of taking in the first place.
The Boss holding up progress and testing out the bed before the boxing was done underneath.
Just some of the minor details for the hinges of the bed to fit. This is one of five I had to do.
