So enter install GME UHF CB radio into my Truck and found out that most of the mounts designed to mount a GME radio under the dashboard for the Troopy until 2021.
As in the 2022 and 2023 model years of the OZ and NZ model Land Cruiser have a new brake assist (hill assist?) unit mounted in the way to use a previous model aftermarket CB radio mounting bracket.
After doing a lot of research and few of the manufactures of these brackets know that there was a change and I was still working on a modification mount to add this in with the CB.
I decided tried one brand before I realised that the 2023 was different to the earlier models and then after working out through all the different mounts I found I came across this one from @svnty_offroad that is designed to mount up a GME CB unit and a aftermarket RedArc trailer brake controller (which I don’t need a New Zealand as I’m not planning to tow any big trailers) so modified the amount to allow the brake assist unit from Toyota to be mounted to this plate and allow room for the CB radio to be mounted up onto the bracket as well.
Since taking these photos, I have added some Kevlar cable protection to stop any damage from rough roads and wear n tear.
